Theproject includes the resurfacing and associated work of Empire Expressway from Meadow Lake Parkway to Old Nunez Road for 2.68 miles, George L. Smith State Park Road from US HWY80 to the Park Entrance for 1.95 miles, Modoc Road from the Swainsboro City Limit to GA HWY 56 for 3.25 miles, Canoochee Garfield Road from GA HWY 192 to the Garfield City Limits for 5.7 miles, and Fairground Road from US HWY 1 to GA HWY 56 for 2.0 miles. Thecontract documents maybe examined at the followinglocations: 122 north main street, swainsboro, ga. Contractorshallmaintainthefollowinginsurance(a)comprehensive generalliability,includingblanketcontractual,coveringbodilyinjurieswithlimitsofno lessthan$1,000,000peroccurrence,andpropertydamagewithlimitsofnolessthan $1,000,000peroccurrence;and(b)commercialautomobileliability,includingblanket contractual,coveringbodilyinjurieswithlimitsofnolessthan$1,000,000per occurrence,andpropertydamagewithlimitsofnolessthan$1,000,000peraccident(c) statutoryworker'scompensationinsurance,including $1,000,000 employer's liability insurance(d)employeedishonestyand/orcrimescoveragewithrespecttopersonnelof ContractorhavingaccesstoCountybuildings,withlimitsofnolessthan$50,000per occurrence.Allinsuranceshallbeprovidedbyaninsurer(s)acceptabletotheCounty, andshallprovideforthirty(30)dayspriornoticeofcancellationtotheCounty.Upon request,ContractorshalldelivertotheCountyacertificateorpolicyofinsurance evidencingContractor'scompliancewiththisparagraph.Contractorshallabidebyall termsandconditionsoftheinsuranceandshalldonothingtoimpairorinvalidatethe coverage. Thesuccessfulbiddershallsecureandpayforallpermits,assessments,chargesorfees requiredinconnectionwiththeproposedconstruction.Answerstoallquestionsshallbe provided aminimum of72 hours priorto thetimeofthebid.
