Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Swainsboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; for the renovation of a 20,500-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.

A. Before submitting a bid, each bidder will be responsible to make or obtain such explorations, tests and data concerning physical conditions (surface, subsurface and underground facilities) at or contiguous to the site, or otherwise may affect cost, progress, performance or furnishing of the work and which bidder deems necessary to determine its bid for performing and furnishing the work in accordance with the time, price and other terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. B. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. This project consists of the renovation of a 20,500 sf existing gymnasium with a 2,000 sf addition. The addition will contain new toilets, locker rooms, and concessions. The addition will be constructed of load bearing c.m.u. masonry walls, thermoplastic roofing, and a metal roof entry canopy. C. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
