Renovation of a water / sewer project in Murray, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Project consists of a chilled water and condenser water upgrades at the Central Plant. This includes removal of existing water cooled chiller #2, installation of a new water-cooled chiller #2 with variable frequency drive and installation of a new HDPE induced draft cooling tower. A control upgrade for the chilled water system and condenser water system will be included. Substantial completion is 280 days from project start date. Final Completion is 310 days from project start date. Questions about obtaining plans and specifications may be directed to Beth Ward @ lward10@murraystate.edu. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Murray State University, Procurement Services, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served.
