Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carpentersville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed improvements will consist of HMA milling, patching, select concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, select side walk removal and replacement, structure adjustments, pavement markings, restoration and all other incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards. Proposal forms will not be mailed. A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accept able surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal shall be submit ted with each proposal as provided in Article 102.09 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Trans potation. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, colour , religion, sex or national origin. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.08 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Trans potation.
