This Contract is subject to the prevailing wage determination made by the New York State Department of Labor. The Town of East Fishkill reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities therein, or to award the Contract to any Bidder if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. WORK SHALL COMMENCE ON OR ABOUT JUNE 1, 2025 AND ALL WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED BY NOVEMBER 1, 2025. SCOPE OF WORK The work required under this Contract consists of furnishing all supervision, labor and personnel, material, equipment and ancillary support necessary to complete the work described within these specifications. In general, this work consists of paving all or portions of the streets and highways as stated with an approximate 2 inch thick compacted layer of asphaltic concrete and related hand work as required. A true and leveling course shall be installed at locations identified by the Town Engineer. The quantities shown are for estimating purposes only and may be increased or decreased as directed by the Town Engineer. All materials and work shall conform to the Standard Specifications, Construction and Materials, NYS Department of Transportation dated January 1, 2024. It is not intended that this description be all inclusive of each and every item required, but rather serve as information illustrating the general scope and nature of work for the convenience of the Bidders.
