Reference Number 0000341466 The Town of East Fishkill is requesting sealed Bids from Qualified Disaster Debris Cleanup Contractors to facilitate the proper management and timely removal of debris generated by all FEMA eligible natural disasters. The goal is to facilitate prompt and efficient recovery through an established agreement that is reasonable, cost effective, and protective of human health and the environment. In order to receive consideration, all questions must be submitted by the close of business 5 business days prior to bid day. A response to all questions will be provided via an addendum that will be posted on the Towns website prior to the close of business on 2/23/2024. Phone call or requests for oral interpretations will not be taken. A Bid Deposit of twenty dollars ($20.00) is required for each contract. Checks should be made payable to the "Town of East Fishkill". This deposit will be returned to all bona fide Bidders. Each Bidder must furnish, with his Bid, Bid Security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. This security may be in the form of a certified check payable to the "Town of East Fishkill", a bid bond, or cash. In addition, each Bid must be accompanied by a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. The lowest qualified proposal meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents will be awarded the contract. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all portions of the proposal and to re-advertise for same, should the best interest of the Town thereby be promoted. The Town also reserves the right to reject any proposal that is informal, or waive any informality in the bidding document.
