Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Cub Run, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
The Cub Run Volunteer Fire Department will consider sealed proposals from licensed engineering firms for the design and costing of one (1) above-ground, three hundred (300) occupant FEMS P-361 compliant community tornado safe room. The proposed storm shelter will be built on fire department property at the location of the old Cub Run Community Center. It must meet all requirements of FEMA P-361 and must be ADA accessible. The final design drawings must be stamped by a licensed engineer certifying that they meet P-361 requirements.
