Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Random Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of the existing East Shore lift station with a completely new lift station. The work shall include the installation of a wet well and a prefabricated enclosure to house the new piping and valves. The work shall also include all associated mechanical and electrical work, new submersible pumps, connection to the existing force main, extension of and connection to the existing gravity sewer system, connection to the Village"s existing SCADA system, pump programming, installation of a new emergency generator, painting, abandonment and demolition of the existing station, access drive construction, paving, and associated site restoration. An alternate bid item shall include installation of a prefabricated control building to house the new piping and valves. Should any question arise concerning the true meaning of any part of the contract documents, the bidder may submit to Clark Dietz, Inc. a written request for an interpretation thereof. The interpretation of the question so requested will be made in the form of an addendum and emailed to all bidders who may later receive contract documents. Any addenda issued during the time of bidding shall be included with the bid, and in closing a contract they will become a part thereof. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the Village of Random Lake equal to 5% of the largest possible total bid. The successful bidders failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within 10 days after the award shall cause the bid bond or check to be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages in accordance with Section 62.15(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
