The term of this agreement is the date of the award through June 30, 2026. Pricing must remain firm for the term of this agreement. This agreement shall be renewable for two (2) additional one-year periods after the initial term, upon agreement by both parties. Upon successful completion of the initial contract, the District and the Provider may enter into renewal for a mutually agreed increase, not to exceed 3%. The District reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid, to waive technicalities, and to accept the offer the District considers most advantageous. The District also reserves the right to award all items, any group of items, or a single item. Be advised that the District is not required to award the bid to the lowest bidder, but instead to the best bidder that presents the most advantageous offer to the District, in the District's sole and complete discretion. Bids will be evaluated based on the type of product or service offered, the price of the product or service, qualifications of the bidder, experience of the bidder, and the District's experience with the bidder. Bidders' experience and qualifications shall include the number of years the bidder has been in operation, the number of times the bidder has provided the product or service requested, the litigation history of the bidder, and the number of times the bidder has provided the product or service to the District or other public school districts. Bidders are responsible for making their bid response as clear and understandable as possible. Bid responses should be submitted with unit price on the attached bid form. Anti-Discrimination Against Israel: Any company, with ten or more employees, awarded a contract for services with a potential value in excess of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) with a Missouri public entity must, as a condition to the award of any such contract, agree not to engage in the boycott of Israeli goods or services either directly or indirectly. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivery of the item, whether or not the bidder is the manufacturer or producer of it. Further, the Columbia Public School District will consider the selected bidder to be the sole point of contact with regard to the contractual matters, including delivery, warranty, and payment of any and all charges resulting from the purchase of the equipment. The Columbia School District has adopted a policy encouraging the purchase of products and/or services manufactured, assembled, or produced within the state and to all firms, corporations, or individuals doing business as Missouri firms, corporations, or individuals, when quality and price are the same.
