Renovation of a municipal facility in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Work includes, but is not limited to supply, delivery, installation, provision of all labour, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete Austin Works Yard Fleet Building Repurpose. The scope of this RFP is to re-purpose the existing Fleet Maintenance Building at Austin Works Yard and utilize the existing infrastructure. The Fleet Building was assessed and determined to be retained for at least another 15 years. The building will be used as a dry storage facility (heavy equipment and City vehicles) and welding shop, while the existing offices will no longer be used. Project Objectives: Building upgrades as required for each space Renew exterior doors and Exit signs Replace lighting with new LED lighting New door opening at welding shop Remove existing ventilation system provide new ventilation system Provide new air compressor Decommission existing unused water and sanitary systems Convert ladies washroom to an accessible washroom Remove existing Pad Mounted Transformer
