The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified service providers for the Provision of Precision Laser Grading Services on an Annual Contract with four (4) additional one-year options to renew for the Gwinnett County Department of Parks & Recreation. Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Precision Laser Grading Services on an Annual Contract with four (4) options to renew for the Department of Parks and Recreation. This contract is for services to quickly and accurately remove surface irregularities and weeds from turf surfaces while leaving the underlying root system intact to re-grow. Typical applications would be precision removal of lips from baseball and softball fields and preparation of sports fields for resodding. Full recovery of turf for play should be accomplished within six weeks of completion of precision laser grading. Bids will be considered only from contractors with sufficient crews and equipment necessary for a contract of this type and magnitude. Gwinnett County's park system is nationally recognized as one of the best in the United States and professional precision laser grading services are required. A five percent (5%) bid bond, a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond, and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond must be furnished to Gwinnett County for any solicitation as required in the solicitation package or document
