The installation of approximately 3,920 LF of new 12” DIP water main and 20 LF of new 8” DIP water line along Shannon Road including valves, fittings, hydrants, and joint restraint. The project also includes restoration of grassing, curb and gutter, driveways, asphalt pavement, a bore under a bridge, traffic control and detours, erosion and sedimentation control, along with all other related appurtenances and site restoration. The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation within 270 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in the General Conditions. The Project is to be complete and eligible for final payment 30 days after the date for Substantial Completion. For contractors interested in pre-qualification, the Annual Pre-Qualification Application must be completed and submitted to the Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services - Purchasing Division-2nd Floor, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 or submitted via email to Brittany.Bryant@gwinnettcounty.com. Contractor must be pre-qualified prior to the first date of the advertisement. Depending on the scope and complexity, individual projects may require pre-qualification, independent of the annual prequalification process.
