Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Saranac Lake, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The Base Bid project generally consists of rehabilitation of Taxiway D by mill and asphalt overlay, including crack repair, new pavement markings, and an approximately 120 SF full depth widening at one intersection. Approximately 9,600 SY of asphalt pavement is to be rehabilitated. Bid Additive 1 generally consists of disposal only of excavated material containing PFAS from widening area, and includes Contractor purchased OCP insurance. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. A Federal DBE participation goal is included in the Contract. The project is sales tax exempt. Last Day for Questions Thu, May 1 5:00 pm Technical questions shall be directed to Mary Kay Genthner of Passero Associates (MKGenthner@passero.com); and visits to the site shall be coordinated with Corey Hurwitch, Airport Manager (Phone: 518-891-4600). Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
