City of Cortez invites qualified individuals, firms, collaborative groups, and teams to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for the development of housing on the eastern 7.01 acres of a 14.02 acre City-owned parcel located on the north side of West 7th Street between South Oak Street and South Chestnut Street in Cortez, Colorado Question Deadline 04/24/2025 at 4:00 PM MT All questions must be submitted via E-Purchasing System The RFQ seeks innovative proposals that align with the City's goals to address housing shortages, enhance community connectivity, and promote sustainable development. The selected developer/builder will be expected to work closely with the City to develop a comprehensive vision for the site. Submission Requirements: Proposals should include: . A Letter of Interest outlining the overall project vision and qualifications. . A preliminary conceptual site plan detailing unit counts, layouts, and design features. . An approach to community outreach, project management, and long-term maintenance. . A detailed business plan including development schedule, cost estimates, and funding strategies.
