Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in University Place, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope outlined in the plans and specifications the work also generally includes typical requirements and tasks for construction projects such as mobilization, temporary construction fencing, temporary erosion and sediment control, existing vegetation protection, clearing and grubbing, minor demolition, site cleanup, and anything else required to protect, secure, or otherwise restore to normal the areas adjacent to the project site as well as any access areas used. Parks will be extending electrical service to the sport and event lawn in order to allow for lights, sound systems to make announcements, and other requested infrastructure needed to host regional and statewide competitions. A new prefabricated covered shelter will be added to the Central Meadow area with associated sidewalks and electrical accommodations. There are a few bid alternates included for goose lasers, extended electrical options, and lighted bollards. Pierce County will pay fees for the General Building Permit and Plan Review for this project. The Contractor is responsible for any specialty or other permits required for this project and shall include such fees in their bid.
