Renovation of a multi-residential development in Englewood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a six-story above grade multi-residential development.
According to Drawings and Specifications prepared by Lothrop Associates Architects Inc., and described in general as: The scope of this project includes all labor, material and equipment associated with the following work in a vacant six story residential building Removal and replacement of all windows (except Elevator Lobby windows on floors 2nd through 6th) - Removal of the existing split ribbed masonry and associated steel lintels and brick masonry. - Installation of insulated metal panels to replace the split ribbed masonry including repair of brick masonry. - Selective repair and repointing of brick masonry. - Preparation and staining of existing brick masonry (Alternate) The Base Bid work of this project, as outlined above, shall be completed in a period of One Hundred Eighty (180) Calendar Days. Work will need to be will be coordinated with other ongoing renovation projects. All requests for Issued for Bid Documents shall be emailed to Arthur J. Seckler, III Principal (aseckler@lothropassociates.com). All Bids Will Be Reviewed by the Architect and Owner. The Contract Will Be Awarded After Review is Complete. The Owner or Architect, Within Ten (10) Days of Opening, Will Notify All Interested Parties as to Their Decision. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the City of Englewood Housing Authority, United States Government Bonds, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and Acceptable Sureties in an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Be Submitted by Each Bidder. The Surety Company Must Also Be Licensed to Do Business in the State of New Jersey. Attention is Called to the Provision of Equal Opportunity Employment and Prevailing Wages for Payments Not Less Than the Minimum Salaries and Wages as Set Forth in the Specification. Women and Minority Owned Business Contractors Are Encouraged to Submit Bids. No Bids Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Opening of Bids Without the Consent of the City of Englewood Housing Authority. Awards Will Be Made to the Lowest Responsible Bidder. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
