Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 04/11/2025 2:00 PM (PDT) Scope of Services The City of Signal Hill is seeking proposals for the installation of rough electrical and City supplied charging stations. A total of four (6) charging stations shall be installed (based on preliminary amp capacity and available space in the distribution panel). These locations are marked on the Site Plan under the “Attachments” Tab. 1. Inspect existing switch gears and verify amp loads based on demand. A line item lump sum (LS) amount shall be included in the proposal for load testing. 2. Upon review of the Site Plan and Site Visit the prospective bidder shall provide a lump sump cost based on the estimated number of circuits, conduit runs, conduit sizes, conductor sizes, conductor runs, and incidentals for the installation of four (6) charging stations. 3. Contingent upon load testing and available capacities the prospective bidder shall include a cost for the optional line item will be noted under the “Line Items” tab for charging stations (Rough Electrical & Charging Station Install). Optional work to be listed at T&M rate. The City anticipates work commencing on Monday, May 5, 2025 with construction for the charging stations to be completed in 45 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date. Lead time on any items must be communicated to the City prior to issuance of NTP. Additionally, the City will procure all charging stations and provide to Contractor at the start of the Project. City will review necessary licenses, qualifications, etc. The Contractor shall secure a Contractor’s Business License with the City at their own expense along with an Electrical Permit at NO FEE through City’s Building Department.
