The City of Show Low (City) invites professional architectural firms to submit a statement of qualifications (SOQ) to provide professional architectural consulting and design services for the Business Incubator Building Renovations Project. The City of Show Low has received grant funding from US Economic Development Administration to prepare a planning document to develop a business incubator. The City has selected a vacant school building located at the City Campus, 760 W. McNeil in Show Low, AZ. The single story, brick masonry building is approximately 20,000 square feet. The building will be re-configured and renovated to accommodate a commercial kitchen, office space, conference rooms, a reception area, technology rooms, restrooms and storage space. The building will require a new roof, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems and other necessary upgrades. The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase will include preliminary programming, floor plan, conceptual renderings, and opinion of probable cost. The programming will be based on a business plan that is developed collaboratively with other consultants. The commercial kitchen layout and equipment selection will also be developed with other consultants on the team. The second phase will be dependent upon receipt of subsequent grant funding.
