This will include: Supply and Apply Granular A Supply and Apply Granular 2" minus in two individual sections Roto-Mill from South St to Rosskopf Roto-Mill is to be coordinated to be done with Surface Treatment so as to reduce traffic delays etc. to the Residents. Traffic Control is the responsibility of the Contractor as per the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7. Warning Loose Gravel Signs (float) to be posted. Overhead Wire Warning Signs to be posted. As well as an estimated 1,400 m2 of Surface Treatment (Double Lift Tar & Chip) on Kirkpatrick Rd see Schedule B This will include: Surface Treatment (Double Lift Tar & Chip) Supply and Apply Granular A Supply and Apply Granular 2" minus Roto-Mill from Highway 124 to 200m South on Kirkpatrick Roto-Mill is to be coordinated to be done with Surface Treatment so as to reduce traffic delays etc. to the Residents. Spills, Reporting Spills or discharges of pollutants or contaminates under the control of the Contractor, and spills or discharges of pollutants or contaminants that are the result of the Contractor's operations that cause or are likely to cause adverse effects shall forthwith be reported to the Contract Administrator. Such spills or discharges and their adverse effects shall be as defined in the Environmental Protection Act R.S.O. 1980. This reporting shall not relieve the Contractor of his/her legislated responsibilities regarding such spills or discharges. Deposit cheques of unsuccessful bidders will be returned within ten business (10) days of the awarding of the RFP. The cheque of the successful bidder shall be retained until the Municipality's acceptance of the completed work. The Municipality will accept payment which is equivalent to a 'certified cheque' which would include e transfer in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total estimated Proposal to: etransfer@magnetawan.com - stating RFP 2025-02, name of company and bid deposit The successful bidder may file with the Municipality of Magnetawan, a completed Performance Bond. The Bond shall be signed and sealed by a recognized Bonding Company, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total estimated Proposal. Upon receipt of such a bond, the Municipality of Magnetawan will return the Contractor's Proposal deposit cheque.
