The City of Palm Bay is requesting bids for new service saddles, repair clamps, and extended range couplings. The City has standardized system parts and the only acceptable brand for these fittings will be the Romac Industries, Inc. brand. No substitutions will be accepted. Bids must be made on Romac Industries, Inc. products, as listed on the Bid Form. Purchase orders will be issued for specific quantities on an as needed basis. Quantities listed on the Bid Form are estimated annual needs. The successful Bidder must be a factory authorized distributor to sell Romac Industries, Inc., products. Award will be made to the lowest and best responsible bidder whose bid is determined by the City, to be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the City of Palm Bay. The City may award sections individually or collectively whichever is in its best interest. TERM - The period of this Agreement shall be for twenty-four (24) months. This Agreement may, by mutual written assent of the parties, be extended for three (3) additional twelve (12) month periods or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of sixty (60) months.
