Dredging and disposal of sediment accumulation from Spring Creek from Eau Gallie Blvd to the Indian River. The work includes furnishing all material, labor, and equipment necessary for constructing Spring Creek Dredging. This project is funded by state or federal funds. The Contractor shall not subcontract more than 50% of the work based on the total contract price. Applicant may not utilize subcontractors for the role of project manager. The successful bidder must be able to show a past history of three (3) successfully completed dredging projects within the past five (5) years that are compliant with the applicable permits and standards. A reference list must be provided demonstrating said successfully completed work which includes project name, owner contact information, consultant contact information, description of work, contract value, and dates that the work occurred. Contractor, or its sub-contractor(s), shall possess and maintain during the term of this Agreement one of the following licenses and/or certifications: 1. Florida Registered or Certified General Contractor 2. Florida Registered or Certified Underground Utilities Contractor 3. FDOT Prequalified Drainage Contractor Bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check, bid bond or negotiable instrument in an amount not less than five percent of the bid. Bid bonds shall be countersigned by an agent having an established place of business in the State of Florida. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 55 days after scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidders must include one original and one copy of their submitted bid. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
