As of May 28 , 2025 Project has not been awarded yet ,No definite date for the award Rehabilitation of Home at 823 Cedar Drive This is an Invitation to Bid from the City of Melbourne, Housing & Urban Improvement Division for work to be completed on property located at 823 Cedar Drive, Melbourne, Florida 32901-7910 To be eligible to submit a bid, contractors must complete registration and be approved in the Neighborly Contractor Portal, and be approved vendors with the City of Melbourne. for rehabilitation of an existing home at 823 Cedar Drive, in the City of Melbourne, FL. The scope of work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, permits, drawings, and services necessary for the proper completion of the work in accordance with the specifications detailed in the Work WriteUp, and General Specifications. All rehabilitation work must be carried out in compliance with the locally adopted 2020 Florida Building Code 7th Edition. In cases where compliance with these codes are impractical and/or cost-prohibitive, contractors will be required to comply with the code to the extent feasible as determined by the Building Department. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information. It is also illegal to retaliate against a person because he or she complained about discrimination, filed a charge of discrimination, or participated in an employment discrimination investigation or lawsuit. The City of Melbourne reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive technicalities and informalities.
