This Request For Proposal (RFP) is issued by Royal Live Oaks Academy for the design and construction of School Pre-Engineered Gymnasium structure with two classrooms and Third Party Inspection Agencies. The scope of this project includes the design, engineering, and construction of a Pre-Engineered Gymnasium structure with two classrooms. The facility should be designed to meet all local, zoning laws, safety regulations and South Carolina Department of Education Office of School Facilities, and should be energy-efficient and cost-effective. The project will be delivered using a Design-Build approach, where the selected contractor will be responsible for both the design and construction of the facility. Key Project Components Pre-Engineered Gymnasium: Approximate size: Approximately 12,000 sq. ft. Ceiling height: At least 30 ft. Structural components: Steel framing, pre-engineered roof system Floor type: Pricing choice for each: hardwood and synthetic sports flooring Lighting: Energy-efficient LED lighting with proper illumination levels for sporting events Restrooms for both male and female HVAC: Efficient heating and cooling systems for occupant comfort Other features: Bleachers (Retractable), scoreboards, basketball hoops, and storage areas Motorized Gym Divider Volleyball Court Support, Floor receptacle to receive the volleyball net poles Floor layout and lining to support both Volleyball and Basketball Courts Security System install and coordination with current system of main building. Classrooms: Size: Approximately 750 sq. ft. each Number: 2 classrooms to accommodate 30 students in each. Features: Drywall, insulation, ceiling systems, lighting, HVAC, power outlets, and windows Use: These classrooms will be used for educational purposes and can also serve as multipurpose rooms. These classrooms should be open to a hallway. Site: Provide Site Plans and layout that integrate the new construction with existing school infrastructure. This includes addressing the placement of utilities, accessibility, and other relevant factors. Site preparation, including grading, excavation, utilities, paving, drainage, and landscaping Sidewalks, and access routes to main school building. Lobby area: Leading to both hallway to classrooms. Restrooms and Gym Entry. Third Party Inspections: Pre-construction Inspections: Conduct inspections of the site prior to construction to ensure it is ready for building. Quality Control and Appliance: Provide ongoing third-party inspections during construction to ensure compliance with approved plans, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Final Inspections: Upon completion, provide a final inspection to verify that the project is completed to specification and within safety requirements.
