Bertolini Student Center Career Services Renovation Owner: Sonoma County Junior College District ("District"), dba Santa Rosa Junior College ("SRJC") Location: Santa Rosa Junior College, 1501 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401 Delivery Type: Design-Bid-Build CSLB License Requirement: B - General Building Contractor Press Democrat The timeline for completion is 53 calendar days from notice to proceed and liquidated damages are $500.00 per day. Note that this project is scheduled for June 2, 2025 - July 25, 2025. Please do not submit a bid if you are unable to perform the work during this timeline. This Project is subject to prevailing wage requirements and Contractor and its Subcontractors are required to pay all workers employed for the performance of this Contract no less than the applicable prevailing wage rate for each such worker. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations. A bidder's bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the contractor's response. SCOPE OF WORK A. The Contractor and his Subcontractors shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits and incidentals required to safely and legally perform the work for the Santa Rosa Junior College, Bertolini Student Transfer tenant improvement project including, but not limited to: 1. Demolition of existing wall. 2. Installation of new walls, Dorrs & Frames. 3. Removal and re-installation of an existing storefront entry system. 4. Modification of the existing carpet and new carpet and base. 5. Modification of the existing t-bar ceiling to accept the new work. 6. New and modification of the existing lighting, power & data. 7. Modification of the existing HVAC system. 8. Interior painting B. It is the intent of the Bid Documents to include everything necessary and required for proper completion of the work. All work is to be performed as required to carry out the intent whether or not each individual items is specifically stated. C. All work shall be performed in accordance with Bid Documents, industry standards, state and local requirements, federal requirements, and fire official requirements.
