As of July 10, 2025, project is awarded to the following contractors: 1. Grunloh Construction Inc. (Division 1) $894,000.00. 2. Remco Electrical Corporation (Division 2) $224,500.00. Scope of work includes; planning, design, bid/award, construction phase, and warranty services for select interior spaces, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, and finish renovations in Buildings 1, 5, and 6. Scope will include readjustment mechanical, electrical and plumbing services/ fixtures, toilet partitions, interior finishes, addition or removal of room partitions, doors hardware and finishes as noted on drawings to meet Facility Standards for quality and energy efficiency. Reconfiguration of certain restrooms, is also needed to conform to the American Disabilities Act (ADA) and the user's occupancy requirements. Refer to Division 01 of the technical specifications for a complete, detailed breakdown of the base bids and alternates for this project. This project includes a Project Labor Agreement that will be executed between the lowest responsible/responsive bidder and the East Central Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council.
