A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5 Percent of the Bid Issued by an Acceptable Surety Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid [for Those Contracts That Exceed $100,000]. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the Owner or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (as Par Value) May Be Submitted in Lieu of The Bid Bond. The Project to Be Constructed Will Be Financed With Assistance From the General Land Office (Glo) Under the U.s. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant - Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (Cdbg-mit) Program and is Subject to All Applicable Federal and State Laws and Regulations. All Contractors and Subcontractors Must Be Cleared (Not Suspended or Debarred) Prior to Any Formal Action Authorizing the Award of a Contract to the Contractor.
