Deer's Head Hospital Center (DHHC) is a unit of the Maryland Department of Health, located at 351 Deer's Head Hospital Road in Salisbury, Maryland and is seeking a 510K certified company to provide complete maintenance and service of the Reverse Osmosis System located in our Kidney Dialysis Unit. This contract will provide for the following scope of work: 1. Quarterly cleaning and disinfecting of RO system which includes cleaning and disinfecting of RO membranes and evaluating and testing RO performance. The pricing will include cleaning/disinfectants, chemicals, test strips, labor and travel. 2. Annual re-bedding of both carbon tanks and perform test and maintenance of the control valve. This service includes re-bedding both carbon tanks, disposing of exhausted carbon, perform test and maintenance on the control valve, changing of endotoxin filters and changing of storage tank vent filter. Pricing should include media, under-bed, filters, travel and labor. 3. Biennial re-bedding of water softener and control valve maintenance every two years. This Service includes water softener re-bed and rebuilding control valve. Pricing includes resin, underbed, labor and travel. 4. Providing 18 bags of salt every quarterly maintenance visit. 5. All work will be performed after the Kidney Dialysis's normal working hours, which are 6:30am - 4:30pm. It shall be the responsibility of all bidders to conduct a complete survey of the Facility and the services required as set forth in this contract. Any misunderstanding arising from the selected bidder failing to make the survey shall not relieve the bidder from fulfilling, without additional cost to Deer's Head Hospital Center, the requirements of this contract.
