The University is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to remove both split systems serving the weight room, including the air handling units, condensing units, duct furnace along with the associated refrigerant linesets, gas piping, and accessories. Existing ductwork will also be removed. Furnish and install 2 new split system heat pumps, provide and install new refrigerant linesets, ductwork and condensate piping, new systems with factory supplied wall mounted thermostats and all necessary components/accessories for a fully operational system. Furnish and install 2 air curtains, provide new exterior refrigerant piping insulation with Airex E-Flex Guard UV weather protector and vapor retardant jacketing. The contractor is responsible for the installation, startup, testing & balancing, warranty, and receiving shipment of all equipment. Provide mechanical and electrical services to support the installation including equipment, piping, conduit, valves, insulation, etc. Contract Term: The Notice to Proceed (NTP) to occur ASAP after Bid Due Date. Contractor may begin onsite work immediately and is to reach Substantial Completion by 07/25/2025 with an additional 7 consecutive calendar days to reach Final Acceptance.
