FP/RFQ Clarifications/Addendum Issued: Tuesday, April 29th End of Business Day The Erie County Department of Public Works - Division of Buildings and Grounds (herein also referred to as "The County") is seeking Qualification Statements for an Architectural & Engineering consultant to provide professional and construction administration services related to the project described above. In general, the work will include, but is not limited to, design and related site investigation to prepare construction documents for (1) new building for the Erie County Emergency Services Department, 11490 Moore Road, Concord, New York 14141. The proposed building will be similar to the existing communication building as shown within this RFP on Exhibit A. The scope shall include the creation of plans to construct a fully functioning facility, inclusive of architectural, structural (foundations), civil engineering, geotechnical analysis as needed, surveying, environmental (including stormwater pollution prevention plan, if necessary), MEP, fire protection, permitting, bidding, and construction administration. General placement of the structure on the site is identified but may be adjusted. All building types will be considered including prefabricated or conventional construction. The project will include reconnection of utilities to the existing tower connections. The electric service to the existing building is the only utility in use. All radio communications work within the new building will be handled by others. The project's scope also includes the demolition of the existing building onsite that is being replaced. The project will be subject to Wicks Law provision, as the construction value will exceed $500,000. Construction trades shall be bid on as separate prime contracts. All applicable building codes at the time of construction apply to this project. The selected consultant shall exhibit familiarity with the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) and the NYS Dept Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) compliance.
