A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City of Dunwoody is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the application of a urethane top coating also known as "roll coat" at four () City of Dunwoody Parks. Existing pour in place surfaces can be found at all four locations, consisting of three (3) playgrounds and one (1) exercise equipment area. Questions regarding bids should be directed to John Gates, Purchasing Manager, at purchasing@dunwoodyga.gov or by calling 678-382-6700, no later than 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The selected contractor must be able to start work within 10 calendar days after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued. The time of completion for the project is as follows: 30 available days from the "Notice to Proceed" for substantial completion and an additional 30 days for final acceptance. Award will be made to the supplier submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety. The City reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its discretion. All companies submitting a bid will be notified, in writing, of award. The objective of this project is to restore and maintain the safety, appearance, and functionality of the PIP surfaces through a professional application of the Rollcoat. 2.
