Time for Completion: The term of each contract shall be for one (1) year, with three (3) one (1) year extensions permitted by mutual agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the CONTRACTOR. The contract shall begin as soon as fully executed and shall expire on March 31, 2026. Subsequent extensions of the contract would be effective beginning on April 1 of each year. Routine maintenance cycle is not to exceed eight (8) days at any location at any time during the peak season. This may be extended up to fifteen (15) days during periods of slow-growth, with prior approval from CITY. CITY anticipates approximately twenty-six (26) routine landscape maintenance cycles per year (season) in addition to the other services described in the bid specification document. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $400 The SBE requirement for this project is 25% of the contract base bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractors Base Bid.
