The district is requesting bids for the labor and materials to install a new HVAC Rooftop unit to replace an existing unit at Harwich Elementary School, 263 South Street, Harwich, MA 02645. The purchase of the unit is not included in this bid as the district has already purchased the unit. Question Deadline 07/03/2025 at 2:00 PM ET All questions must be submitted by email to the primary procurement contact The successful bidder must provide all the necessary labor and materials to remove the existing roof top heating and ventilation unit and install the replacement unit. This must include: o Project management. o Acquisition of permits as necessary. o Disconnect, removal and proper disposal of existing unit. o Rig new unit onto roof in existing location o Installation of the replacement unit, in same location, including, but not limited to: o Connect electrical and other piping and wiring as necessary. o Integrate with existing Trane Tracer SC control system. o Startup and ensure proper operation The district has already purchased the replacement unit, expected between July 16 and July 30. The District will notify the successful bidder of any changes to the delivery schedule. Installation must begin within two weeks of delivery and be completed by July 31. The replacement unit is 3 - 25 Ton PKGD Precedent Unitary Rooftop3 - 25 Ton PKGD Precedent Unitary Rooftop Unit, purchased from Trane Inc. The existing MP580 (Lon Controller) should be removed from the current unit and installed into the new H&V unit, and existing communication wiring should also be re-used wherever possible. The Contractor shall be expected to perform the work required by this contract at: Harwich Elementary School, 263 South Street, Harwich, MA 02645. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled for this bid, however, bidders are encouraged to contact the facilities director Rick Travers, rtravers@monomoy.edu to arrange a site visit if they are not already familiar with the building/equipment.
