Site work for a power facility in Jamestown, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.
Labor and material costs for installing helical piles and brackets to support existing underground conduit/concrete installations. The BPU reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive any informalities, the right to permit exceptions deemed not to be of substance, and the right to accept any bid which the BPU deems to represent the prudent and economical expenditure of the public monies for the benefit of its customers by securing the maximum quality at the lowest possible cost. Bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the General Manager, Board of Public Utilities, City of Jamestown, New York, be plainly marked on the outside, "PROPOSAL NO. BD04-25" and be delivered at the Board's office located at 92 Steele Street The general scope of work for BD-04-25 includes installing helical piles and support brackets for our Chadakoin Electrical Substation as identified in the Technical Section contained herein. The JBPU has contracted with Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc to provide engineering services at this station to bolster (sinking) installed underground electrical conduits encased in concrete. To obtain a digital copy of the site plan engineered drawing S101, please reach out to the Technical Lead Jarrett Devereaux. A site pre-construction (pre substation) boring sample report is also available at request. All work should be finished by October 31 st of 2025.
