Provide all equipment, labor, materials and services as needed to CO2 Clean, Paint and Resurface Floors in JC Schools Construction Building as per the attached bid documents and pricing sheet. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials and supervision as required to clean, prepare surfaces and paint the interior and clean and/or refinish concrete floors at JC Schools CTE Construction building as per these bid documents. Paint shall be applied in as many coats as necessary to achieve proper coverage and to the satisfaction of CTE staff. All materials shall be applied according to the manufacturer's recommendation. Machinery will stay in the shops, some can be moved; however, a few are permanently attached to the floor. Paint all interior walls, exposed structure ceiling, doors and frames using a high quality, durable, low VOC paint suitable for classroom environments after cleaning and surface preparation is complete. 6. LICENSES, FEES, PERMITS The Contractor is responsible for furnishing the proper licenses, fees, and permits required by law to do business in the City of Johnson City in completion of the requirements stated herein. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest building codes, state and federal laws relative to public works contracts including the Americans with Disabilities Act. 7. STATE CONTRACTORS LICENSING All bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee, as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6) State of Tennessee. If submitting a hard copy bid the attached "Contractors Envelope Form" must be completed and attached to the outermost submittal envelope. If submitting bid electronically the envelope form must be uploaded separately from the bid so we can verify license otherwise it will not be opened. A copy of State Contractor's License shall be included with bid package. 8. DRUG FREE WORKPLACE All bidders must execute the enclosed Drug Free Workplace Affidavit to verify compliance with TCA 50-9-113 and return same with bid response. Failure to comply with this requirement will declare that proposal non-responsive. Reject any or all submittals, for any reason, at its sole discretion. Supplement, amend, or otherwise modify this solicitation. Cancel this solicitation with or without submission of another solicitation. Reserve the right to request additional information as part of this selection process .pre employment, random testing, suspicion testing, and return-to-duty testing. To comply with TCA Title 50 Chapter 9 Part 1, all bidders and/or those proposing to do service with the City must have a testing program of the same or better than the requirements of the City of Johnson City.
