The Board of Education of the Green Bay Area Public School District, Green Bay, Wisconsin, will receive sealed bids for HVAC Upgrades and remodeling of Sullivan Elementary School in Green Bay, Wisconsin Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud by the Owner in a room to be named later in the Administrative Offices, address. Each bidding contractor shall be informed in writing, as to who was awarded the work. Bids will not be accepted if received after the mentioned time. Proposals shall be received for a single prime General Contractor for HVAC Upgrades and Remodel. Bidding documents in digital format (.pdf) are available by contacting Somerville, Inc. at the email address The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 5% of the Contract and to be executed on AIA Form A312 attached to Bid Documents. Bid Form, Bid Bond, and Form of Non-Collusive Affidavit shall be submitted with Bid. Failure to do so may be cause for rejection of bid. Prime bidders must file a Proof of Responsibility Statement with the Owner not less than five (5) days prior to the date of opening bids. Bidders Proof of Responsibility Form is enclosed in specification book. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informality in the bidding. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) consecutive calendar days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the consent of the Owner. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total Base Bids, payable to the Green Bay Area Public School District, Green Bay, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within 10 days after the award of contract.
