The Scope of Work Includes Television Inspection of Approximately 2,525 Four-inch Diameter Service Laterals via Launching From the Mainline Sewer, Approximately 151,500 Linear Feet of 8-inch Thru 15-inch Diameter Sanitary Sewer Mainline Television Inspection, Approximately 25 Internal Protruding Tap Removals, Locating Approximately 15 Buried Manholes, and Associated Cleaning of Service Lateral Pipe and Mainline Sewer Pipe. Questions Concerning Meaning or Intent of Bidding Documents Shall Be Submitted to Tad Powell, Pe, Senior Associate, Hazen and Sawyer, at Email Tpowell@hazenandsawyer.com No Later Than 5:00 P.m. Local Time on Friday, May 09, 2025. All Questions Must Be in Writing on Bidder's Company's Letterhead or Email. The Contract Time for This Project is Two Hundred Seventy (270) Consecutive Calendar Days From the Effective Date of the Written Notice to Proceed to Achieve Final Acceptance. The Contractor May Apply for an Extension of Time in Accordance With the Provisions of the Contract; However, Such an Extension Must Be Approved Prior to the Contract Completion Date to Avoid the Imposition of Liquidated Damages. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed if This Time Limit is Exceeded. All Prospective Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified With the Jefferson County Environmental Services Department by Having an Approved Pre-qualification Letter for Television Inspection (Tvi) Work on File With Jefferson County Environmental Services Department Dated After January 14, 2010, in Order to Bid on This Project. To Pre-qualify With the Department Each Prospective Bidder Must Furnish Written Evidence of Competency and Evidence of Financial Responsibility to the County.
