Central Services Roof 1. Base Bid ñ Scope of work includes installation of a roof recovery / overlay system over the existing roof in place with a mechanically attached TPO roof membrane. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly will be required. Areas indicated to have wet roof insulation on roof plan drawings will be removed. This quantity is included in the unit prices to be included in the bid provided. 2. Alternate No. 1 ñ Scope of work includes installation of a roof recovery / overlay system over the existing roof in place with a mechanically attached PVC / KEE roof membrane. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly will be required. Areas indicated to have wet roof insulation on roof plan drawings will be removed. This quantity is included in the unit prices to be included in the bid provided. 3. Alternate No. 2 ñ Scope of work includes complete roof replacement of the existing roof system. Roof replacement includes deck replacement / repairs, installation of a new roof insulation, including taper insulation, and a mechanically attached PVC / KEE roof membrane. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly will be required. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
