Interested Contractors shall address in their submittal, their company's ability to provide the following services if selected by IWA: ON-CALL PAVEMENT AND CONCRETE REPAIR SERVICES. Provide on-call construction services for the purpose of pavement and concrete repairs. The work may include, but not be limited to, the following types of work. a. Obtain all necessary permits from City of Indio, including but not limited to encroachment permit. b. Performing AC Pavement Removal and Replacement, per City of Indio Standards and Technical Specifications c. Performing Concrete Driveway Removal and Replacement - Residential, per City of Indio Standards and Technical Specifications d. Performing Concrete Driveway Removal and Replacement Commercial, per City of Indio Standards and Technical Specifications e. Performing Concrete Sidewalk Removal and Replacement, per City of Indio Standards and Technical Specifications f. Performing Concrete Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement, per City of Indio Standards and Technical Specifications g. Performing Concrete Cross Gutter Removal and Replacement, per City of Indio Standards and Technical Specifications h. Grinding and Removing 2" Pavement i. Constructing 2" Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement j. Performing Overage/Dig Out work k. Installing Signing and Striping l. Installation of PCC Curb Access Ramp m. Removal of PCC Curb Ramps n. Concrete Repair or Other Work as Directed o. Replacing Traffic Loops p. Installing Survey Monumentation q. Resetting and Recording Distributed Survey Monuments r. Adjusting Manholes to Grade s. Adjusting Water Valves to Grade t. Crack Sealing Pavement in Non-Residential Areas. Submittal of questions Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 3:00 pm- Response to questions Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 3:00 pm - All questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted in writing to: Roman Gonzalez Water Project Construction Manager, via email at: rcgonzalez@indio.org. The date and time when questions must be submitted by are shown in "Section IV - RFQ Process and Key Dates" of this RFQ. Substantive questions with their answers will be posted on IWA's website by the date and time set forth in this RFQ. Submittals shall comply with all conditions, requirements and specifications contained herein, with any departure constituting sufficient cause for rejection of the proposal at the IWA's sole discretion. Any and all costs incurred in the preparation and presentation of this submittal shall be borne solely by the respondent. All respondents must submit qualifications and costs according to the specifications set forth below. Submittals must be relevant to the specific work required and should not exceed 15 pages of information (not including cover, back cover, index sheets, rate schedule, etc.). Provide a brief synopsis of the Contractor's ability to provide all the work listed in Section 3, Item 1, on-call pavement, and repairs services, with the Contractor's manpower and equipment, or through qualified Subcontractors. For each on-call service request, IWA will provide a scope of work. The IWA reserves the right to award the contract(s) in any manner it deems to be in the best interest of the IWA and make the selection based on its sole discretion, including negotiating with one or more of the Contractors for the same services.
