No definite date for the rebid.** The overall scope of work includes the demolition and reconfiguration of an existing site and utilities, for the construction of a new retaining wall and above ground fuel tank. This will include the removal of the existing 20,000 gallon underground diesel fuel tank. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The overall scope of work includes the demolition and reconfiguration of an existing site and utilities, for the construction of a new retaining wall and above ground fuel tank. This will include the removal of the existing 20,000 gallon underground diesel fuel tank. Demolition is planned for the existing site, including the hill along the southwest property line and the flat area along the southwest elevation of the Bus Wash building. Concrete construction in this area will provide a parking surface that utilizes existing drainage. The proposed retaining wall consisting of soldier piles and lagging and with a concrete facing. This concrete facing will utilize a form liner for the exterior finish. The elevation at the bottom of the retaining wall will be excavated with utilities reworked to accommodate the new retaining wall and fuel tank. This project will be bid as a Base Bid and an Alternate option. The Base bid includes: 320 feet of linear retaining wall, removal of the existing underground 20,000 gallon fuel tank, construction of the new above ground 20,000 gallon fuel tank, and construction of the new asphalt parking lot. This area is approximately 13,000 SF. The 20,000 gallon above ground diesel fuel tank shall be located on a concrete pad with bollards and tank access as required by code. The fuel tank will connect to the existing dispensary. Alternate 1 includes: 310 feet of linear retaining wall and construction of the new asphalt parking lot. This area is approximately 15,000 SF. the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) has established participation goals for the construction of affected capital facility projects and state-assisted building projects. These goals apply to projects defined in the above-referenced laws and related Executive Orders. The current participation goals (effective 7/1/2020) establish the project to achieve 4.2% for MBE Business Participation and 8.8% for WBE Workforce Participation for the overall construction cost. .
