Lander University is seeking a qualified, licensed, and insured contractor to perform repairs on the fencing and court surfaces on the tennis courts at the JMC Sports Complex that were damaged during Hurricane Helene, located at 501 Montague Ave in Greenwood SC. The timeline of this project is between May 20, 2025 to August 2, 2025. This work must be completed by August 2, 2025. The primary project tasks include the following: a. Demolition & Preparation i. Remove and dispose of existing damaged fencing and court surface as needed. ii. Fill and level voids in the court surface as needed. b. Installation i. Install new fencing to replace damaged fencing throughout the JMC tennis courts. ii. Install the specified fencing to match existing fencing exactly. iii. Repair damaged tennis court surfaces. iv. Provide all necessary repair, modification and replacement to return the tennis court surfaces and fencing to undamaged condition. c. Finishing & Compliance i. All replacement fencing must be an exact match to the existing fencing in height, style, composition and color. ii. Repairs to damaged court surfaces must be returned to pre-hurricane damaged condition. d. Waste Disposal & Field Adjustments i. The contractor must provide a designated waste container for demolition and construction debris. ii. If unforeseen field conditions require remediation, the contractor must notify the university project contact. Any additional work will require a negotiated change order before proceeding. iii. The following pictures are provided as a courtesy and for reference, however they only represent examples of the damages in the project scope.
