The City of Greenwood, herein after referred to as "the City", is seeking sealed, written bids from qualified contractors to perform building repairs or demolition and reconstruction of an open-air pavilion located at Grace Street Dog Park at 112 Merrywood Drive, Greenwood. The pavilion sustained structural damage when a tree fell on the western side of the structure during Hurricane Helene. None. Site visits are strongly encouraged prior to bidding. TIME OF COMPLETION - TIME OF COMPLETION/DEFAULT - The work to be performed under this contract shall be commenced within 10 calendar days of executing the Agreement. Weather permitting; work should be completed within 30 calendar days of executing the Agreement. ("Project Completion Time"). Contractor shall give written notice to the City within 5 calendar days of any delay extending the Project Completion Time by stating the condition causing the delay, specific work delayed and the total time of the delay. This delay notice must be approved in writing by the City Manager. Otherwise, the project completion time will not be extended.
