Greenwood County ("Owner") is requesting proposals from qualified Sign Contractors for the design, fabrication and installation of new signage at the Greenwood County Recreation Complex located at 1552 Hwy 72-221 East, Greenwood, SC 29649 (Parcel ID# 6856-662-667). This new signage proposal for the Greenwood County Recreation Complex will include one (1) LED Digital Message Center Sign; and two (2) internally lit, monument signs at different entrances to the site. This request seeks to identify the cost proposal submitted that is in the best interests of Greenwood County. Information obtained from this RFP will be utilized by Greenwood County to evaluate each interested Sign Contractor by utilizing the Proposal Review Process of a Competitive, Best Value Bid, as outlined in this document. The award of any contract or agreement is contingent upon the receipt or availability of adequate project funding. Greenwood County reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. Greenwood County recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation of its recreation complex located at 1552 Hwy 72-221 East, Greenwood, SC. Two new signs are needed for the entrances off of Hwy 72-221. One entrance sign will be for the Playground, Tennis and Pickleball Courts. The other entrance sign will be at Wilbanks Circle, which leads to the Baseball, Football and Soccer Fields, as well as the Farmer's Market. In addition to the two entrance signs, Greenwood County would liket to add a large LED sign for messaging. This sign will replace an old "Civic Center" marquee sign that was blown over during Hurricane Helene and will be located in approximately the same location. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any proposal which is incomplete, obscure, conditional, or otherwise irregular, or which has erasures or corrections in prices, or in which unit prices are omitted or are obviously unbalanced, may be rejected. However, the County Manager reserves the right to waive informalities on the basis of its best interests. No proposal may be withdrawn within NINETY (90) days after scheduled time for proposal submittal.
