Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Greenwood, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of the repaving of the Horne Arena Parking Lot, the asphalt and concrete curb repair at the Bearcat Village Student Housing Complex, and the replacement of a section of concrete sidewalk. An abbreviated summary of the respective project scopes is listed below for your convenience. Please consult the project documents for the full project scope and details. Lander University will issue the Building Permit. Horne Arena Parking Lot Repaving and Restriping a. Demo existing asphalt, estimated to be @ 2 inches. b. Undercut an additional 10 inches. c. Dispose of all demod materials. d. Lander University will provide a 3rd Party Inspection Firm to conduct a proof roll. e. Contractor responsible for establishing a compacted subgrade to a minimum of 95% Standard Proctor. f. As a result of the Proof-Roll, if any additional excavation is required, a construction change order will be issued. g. Contractor to procure and install aggregate to a depth of 10 inches. h. Contractor to apply a 2-inch layer of asphalt. i. Contractor to re-stripe the parking lot per the contract documents. Bearcat Village Asphalt Repair a. Saw-Cut and remove the existing asphalt per the project documents. b. Contractor to perform additional excavation (10 inches) in the two identified areas of the project documents. (see the demo drawing). c. Contractor to procure and install 10 inches of compacted aggregate for the two selected areas. d. Saw-Cut and remove approximately 48 ft. lin. ft. of 6-inch concrete curb, per the asphalt documents. j. Lander University will provide a 3rd Party Inspection Firm to conduct a proof roll. k. Contractor responsible for establishing a compacted subgrade to a minimum of 95% Standard Proctor. l. As a result of the Proof-Roll, if any additional excavation is required, a construction change order will be issued. m. Contractor to apply a 2-inch layer of asphalt per the project documents. n. Contractor to re-stripe directional arrows per the contract documents. Bearcat Village Concrete Sidewalk Replacement a. Remove existing concrete sidewalk per the project documents. (approx. 128 sq. ft.) b. Provide replacement concrete and broom finish.
