The contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment to provide the following: o Remove the existing track surface, expose the asphalt base, and clean the exposed asphalt base, which shall then be inspected by the Owner (and Owners representative) and Contractor. o Locate and fill all existing cracks in the current asphalt base on all areas of the track, high jump area, long jump and pole vault runways. Cracks should be repaired by filling and then taping (utilizing pavement fabric) to prevent reflecting through the subsequent overlay, o Locate, patch, and level all damaged or worn areas as necessary. o Install a 1.5" asphalt layer over existing base. o Install the replacement 8 lane straight, 8 lane oval running track, high jump area, long jump and pole vault runways, with the accepted track product and associated specifications, on all applicable track areas to include the running track, chute area, and high jump area (all should be black). o Provide pricing on a black mat latex and a black mat polyurethane option with and without a structural spray. o Install standard lane striping and event marking to meet all requirements of NFHS and MHSAA. o Include separate color (orange) for exchange zones. o Provide project insurance, Supervision, and Mobilization. o Provide Construction Surveying, Layout, and Staking as necessary. o Provide Performance and Payment Bonds. o Provide, prior to construction, all required submittals. o Provide track lane and event marking drawings for approval prior to construction. o Provide project ending punch-list prior to sign off. o Provide full clean-up of premises prior to vacating project. o Required permits/fees are the responsibility of Contractor o Almont Community Schools is a tax-exempt entity, Contractor is responsible for all taxes. o This is not a prevailing wage project
