The City of Brighton seeks the bid of qualified contractors to construct an open channel to carry drainage flows from the Jacob's Run Subdivision to the Homestead Subdivision detention pond through land located north of the Grace Bible Fellowship Church with an approximate address of 15559 Weld County Road 2 in Brighton, Colorado 80603 (Figure 1). Refer to the image below for an aerial view of the approximate project location. The channel is required to allow developed flows to reach the intended discharge location. The previous natural swale that existed across the above-mentioned property has accumulated sedimentation over the years and requires a proper channel to ensure flows can reach the Homestead Subdivision without risk of flooding impacts to surrounding properties.
