Site work for a water / sewer project in Georgetown, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Georgetown County Water and Sewer District is soliciting interest from qualified Control System Integrators (CSI) for the development, installation, and optimization of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems for the District's Wastewater Collection System. The current wastewater collection SCADA system monitors 83 pump stations. The pump stations are monitored using Lookout PC-based HMI/SCADA from National Instruments. The SCADA system transmits data between pump stations and the central control station via radio frequencies. The current SCADA system is very limited in its ability to collect and archive historical data or have the capability to produce reports or trend data. The new SCADA platform will have remote access. The new SCADA system must function on a desktop workstation (Application Server). All available pump stations shall be interconnected with the SCADA so that all functions can be viewed and/or controlled from one system. Existing radios will be used as the primary communication with the servers. All screens, graphics, and control interfaces shall be developed with input from District staff.
