Gilbane Building Company, Construction Manager, for and acting on behalf Glenbard Township High School District 87, is receiving lump sum proposals from Contractors interested in bidding on the Additions and Renovations planned for Glenbard East High School. This phase of the project includes two additions; one for a cafeteria expansion and the other for a new visitor entry. Both additions are single story, slab on grade steel structures with facades constructed of cold formed framing, brick veneer, metal & porcelain tile paneling, and a combination of curtain wall & storefront glass. Interior renovation work for the existing the cafeteria, faculty lounge, select classrooms, and support spaces adjacent to the additions are also included within this bid release and will be completed in the summer of 2026. Site work included within this phase of work is limited to site utilities relocation, foundation excavation, and general site grading around the additions.
