Cottonwood West Force Main & Carmel East Interceptor" for furnishing all labor; material, toolsandequipment and performing all work required for the Cottonwood West Force Main and CarmelEast Interceptorwhich consists of approximately 5,900 linear feet (LF) of 14-inch wastewater force main, andapproximately4,000 linear feet (LF) of 24-inch RFP wastewater interceptor, associated manholes and force mainappurtenances, a 12ft x 12ft junction box, and all incidentals. The deadline to ask questions is 4/25/2025 12:00 AM CST Proposals must be submitted on the Proposal forms provided and must be accompanied by a BidBond in apenal sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Contract Price proposed. The securitymay be in theform of a Bid Bond furnished by a reliable surety company having authority under the laws ofTexas to writesurety bonds in the amount required, with such security made payable without recourse to theCity.The final Notice of Award of Contract will be issued to the successful bidder by the City withinsixty (60) daysfollowing the opening of bids and no bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days afteropening thereof.The successful Offeror must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond on the formsprovided, each in theamount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety companyauthorized by the Stateof Texas to act as surety.State statutes, including Prevailing wage and hour provisions and contract regulations must beadhered to asthey relate to this Project. Refer to the WIFIA ContractConditions inthe manual for detailed information.Any contract(s) awarded under this Request for Proposals (RFP) is/are expected to be funded inpart byfinancial assistance from the EPA.EPA DBE - This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) DisadvantagedBusinessEnterprise (DBE) Program, which includes EPA approved fair share goals toward procurement ofMinority andWomen-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses. The City of Pflugerville reserves the rights to reject any and all offers and to waive any informalities in proposals received; to eliminate a portion of the work or add additional work as required to keep the total contract amount within the funds budgeted; the right to award any parts or combination of parts of the Project it deems necessary; and any other rights established under the laws of the State of Texas.
