Koller Subdivision Sewer Extension. Each proposal on the work shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, deposit of cash or a certified check, payable to the order of the Greater Peoria Sanitary District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the bid. All certified checks must be drawn on some responsible bank and shall be made payable to the order of the Greater Peoria Sanitary District. Bidder's bonds submitted with proposals shall be issued by companies whose Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating as provided by A.M Best is no worse than "A-" (Excellent) or better and whose Financial Strength Rating is no worse than "A-" (Excellent). If coverage is cancelled or the carrier's rating falls below these minimum ratings, the District shall be notified in writing. Through an intergovernmental agreement, The Greater Peoria Sanitary and Sewage Disposal District has adopted the Equal Employment Opportunity goals established by the City of Peoria. No bid will be accepted which does not include an executed Subcontractor Utilization Statement (if applicable), an executed M/WBE Participation Waiver Request (if applicable), a list containing the name of each M/WBE company contacted as well as the date and method of contact, and a City of Peoria Certificate of Compliance Number or satisfactory documentation of the bidder's efforts to obtain such a number from the City of Peoria's Equal Employment Opportunity Office. The Greater Peoria Sanitary and Sewage Disposal District has contracted with the City of Peoria to administer and monitor the City of Peoria goals regarding utilization of minority and women subcontractors and a minority and women workforce. No bid will be accepted which does not contain a Subcontractor Utilization Statement (if applicable), an executed M/WBE Participation Waiver Request (if applicable), a list containing the name of each M/WBE company contacted as well as the date and method of contact and a Certificate of Compliance Number or satisfactory documentation of the bidder's efforts to obtain such a number from the City of Peoria Equal Employment Opportunity Office.
