Renovation of a mixed-use development in Jenner, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage; and residential development.
In consideration of a bid, please review the attached SAMPLE AGREEMENT attachment which includes scope of work, project manual, payment terms, insurance requirements, performance and payment bonds, other special terms and conditions. Provide all Labor, tools and materials to remove and replace existing roofing from single-family residence, including main house and garage outbuilding. All work to conform to laws, regulations, safety protocols, procedures and CALOSHA requirements. Provide all labor, tools and materials to remove and replace existing roofing from single-family residence, including main house and garage outbuilding, which is located at 9600 Goat Rock Road, Jenner, CA 95450. All work to conform to laws, regulations, safety protocols, procedures and CALOSHA requirements. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirements have been waived for this solicitation; however incentive program applies. All work to conform to laws, regulations, safety protocols, procedures, and CALOSHA requirements. The contractor agrees to complete all the work within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work. This includes the ten (10) calendar days allowed for the Contractor to begin work. The contract term for this agreement is May 15, 2025 (or upon DPR approval whichever is later) through July 15, 2025 (or 60-days from DPR approval whichever is later). License(s) Required: C-39 Roofing Contractor License. A Letter of Bondability on Surety Company's letterhead stating the Contractor/Bidder has the bonding capacity available for this project is required. This letter must be included with bid submission. When contract is awarded, the Contractor will be required to submit Payment and Performance bonds to DPR within ten (10) calendar days. Bids Exceeding $250,000 shall have enclosed cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond, executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California in an amount equal to at least 10% of amount of bid. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that their bid/proposal arrives at the designated location before the specified due date and time. Prospective bidders may examine and obtain bid forms, specifications, and plans by calling or mailing a request to the office of the Department of Parks and Recreation, at the phone number or address listed above. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a standard bid form furnished 'by the Department of Parks and Recreation, and is made in accordance with the "Instructions to Bidders." Site Walkthrough Description: Attendees must be present during the entire walk-through, and attendance will be confirmed on the Contractors' Sign-In Log. Responses will be included as an Addendum to this solicitation. Questions will be accepted up. The Department of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to waive any irregularity in a bid or to reject any or all bids. The apparent low bidder will be required to execute a contractual agreement in the form of a "Standard Agreement - Form 213" which shall be binding upon the State of California only upon approval by the State.
