The contractor agrees to complete all the work within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of written notice to commence work. This includes the ten (10) calendar days allowed for the Contractor to begin work. The contract term for this agreement is May 15, 2025 (or upon DPR approval whichever is later) through July 15, 2025 (or 60-days from DPR approval whichever is later). License(s) Required: C-39 Roofing Contractor License. A Letter of Bondability on Surety Company's letterhead stating the Contractor/Bidder has the bonding capacity available for this project is required. This letter must be included with bid submission. When contract is awarded, the Contractor will be required to submit Payment and Performance bonds to DPR within ten (10) calendar days. Bids Exceeding $250,000 shall have enclosed cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond, executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California in an amount equal to at least 10% of amount of bid. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that their bid/proposal arrives at the designated location before the specified due date and time.
